Founded in mid-2020, The HVAC Company was created to fill a critical service gap in Arizona’s commercial HVAC industry. Recognizing the need for a robust service-focused contractor, our founders brought together a team with complementary expertise in project management, service management, and B2B business development.
We specialize exclusively in commercial HVAC services and controls, offering 24/7 repair, preventive maintenance, equipment replacement, AC system retrofits, and full-service controls.
Focusing solely on commercial services, we avoid construction, residential work, and other trades, allowing us to concentrate on what we do best—providing top-tier HVAC solutions to businesses and government agencies throughout Arizona.
In just a few years, we’ve seen significant growth—expanding to over 30 employees, more than 25 service trucks, and a strong client base in the corporate facilities and property management sectors. As we continue to grow, we are rapidly expanding into Arizona's public sector market, bringing our expertise and commitment to new government agencies such as the City of Flagstaff, City of Tempe, Glendale Union High School District just to name a few.

With 30 years in the HVAC industry, including 16 years at Trane and 3 years at Johnson Controls, Donnie Craft has extensive experience in applied mechanical, unitary, and controls systems. He’s worked across diverse industries like oil, healthcare, municipalities, and education, and has been integral in launching both small service operations and multi-million dollar startups. In addition to his professional achievements, Donnie is also an adjunct instructor and advisory board member for the HVAC program at Maricopa Community College, where he shares his expertise with the next generation of HVAC professionals.
